Our Teddy Bear & Stuffy Hospital doctor has been very busy teddy repairing & restoring bears, other stuffed animals, and dolls. She finds that most accidents have occurred by the mouths of dogs although some have had so much loving.

An Unusual Job
On December 29, 2014, Ruth had the honour to be interviewed by Gavin Fisher of CBC Radio who was looking for people with unusual jobs. He starts the interview by saying
“There are doctors for human patients and veterinarians for animals, but what about teddy bears and stuffies that need operations.” He discovered that “there is a doctor for that too” in Vancouver......
My Story
Teddy Bear & Stuffy Doctor, Ruth Hasman, has made and fixed Bears and Friends for the past 30 year. She first started making fur bears out of old fur coats, “Dear Bears”. Then she was asked to restore a friends beloved teddy bear and the rest is history.
